3 & 3

Nate just turned 3 years old! Taylor just turned 3 months old!

Nate is SO big now. He is completely potty trained and loves sporting his "big boy underwear". He is a great big brother, loves to make new friends, and his new favorite things are Lightning McQueen, Spiderman, Buzz Lightyear, and to "fight like Star Wars" or translation is light sabers. His vocabulary is great and he will talk to anybody. He says, "My Name is Nate and my mom is Christina. What's your name?" Real cute, unless you are trying to run errands and not in a social mood! Some of his phrases right now are:

"That's larious (hilarious) mom! you gonna put that on Facebook?"
"I don't very like that."
"I'm sad because my dad went to work."
"That's too scary!" (said about things that are not scary)
"I'm nervous." (always said out of context)

We had a small family party at GattiTown for Nate's birthday. Here are a few pics from it:



Taylor seems to grow a pound overnight. Babbling, smiling, drooling, and blowing bubbles are her favorite pastimes. She is not a fan of tummy time, loud, surprising noises, or taking a burp break when she is hungry. She can chug a bottle with the best of them. Her new nickname is "cheeks" and these cheeks endure lots of kisses from her adoring fans. She used to be our night owl which was fitting with her room decor, but she finally slept 8 hours at 2 and 1/2 months! We think she is training for the Tour de France as she is an expert at "bicycling". Watch out Lance!
