Three months to go until the big move! We have been soaking in everything "American" lately from our Starbucks lattes to big box retailers. Nostalgia for our beloved Austin has begun and Jeremy and I have been frequenting South Congress and Downtown every chance we get.
We did book our flight this month and it was beginning to feel like dooms day until God began to renew the passion in our hearts for this mission. He has been orchestrating every detail of our lives and preparing every one of us including our children for this very thing! So, we will miss seeing all of our favorite people here, our "American" things, and the uniqueness of Austin, Texas, but we will go to Ethiopia with a humble joy and thankfulness to our Lord who has gone before us and beckons us to follow Him.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
